We have been here in Dadar East for a bit now, tucked away in Rukmini Niwas near the Chitra cinema. It is not the easiest spot to find if you are not looking for it, specifically since Mahaganapthi Nagar can get quite crowded during the middle of the day. Most people around here just know us as that place by the 6th Phase in Kaveri. We start work early most mornings, usually when the streets are still a bit quiet before the traffic picks up near the signal. It gets busy fast though. Being at 3/7 means we see a lot of the same faces every single day, mostly neighbors or people just passing through on their way to work. The space is small and nothing fancy at all, just some tables and our basic equipment. Sometimes the humidity gets to us in the summer, but we manage. We are not trying to be some big corporate brand or anything like that. It is just us here, making what we make and hoping the local people like it. Usually, someone is always cleaning or organizing something because things get messy quickly when you are busy. It is just a regular life here in the neighborhood. We have grown used to the sounds of the street and the way the light hits the building in the late afternoon. It feels like home to us, really.
