Chittranjan Decorators

We are Chittranjan Decorators, based in Matunga East 309. It’s a small office where we keep our samples and fabric books. We’ve been helping folks with their homes and small events for a good while. It’s mostly just me and a couple of guys who do the heavy lifting. We don’t have a big catalog or anything like that. People usually bring in a picture or just tell us what they want for their daughter’s wedding or a small puja at home. We have some old chairs and curtains that have seen a lot of use but they still look good when you set them up right. The neighborhood knows us. We’re not the type to do those massive corporate stages. We prefer the local stuff. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet enough to read the paper. We try to be on time, but with the traffic in Matunga, you never know. We just do the work and hope people like it enough to tell their cousins. It’s a simple business. We keep our supplies in a shed nearby. If you need some lights or cloth for a function, come by and we can talk. We don't have a receptionist, so if I'm not in, just leave a message with the guy next door. We keep it pretty informal around here and handle things as they come. It’s a steady way to spend the day.
