Chistya Exports

If you look for Chistya Exports, you’ll find us on the first floor at 79/81 Ali Uma Street. It’s right near Pydhonie, so the area is always packed with people and carts moving goods. The stairs up to our office are quite narrow and a bit worn out, but they’ve held up for years. Inside, it’s mostly just us and a lot of boxes. We do export work, so there's always a lot of checking and re-checking lists. The noise from the street never really stops, but after a while, you don't even hear the horns or the vendors anymore. We don't have a big corporate setup with glass partitions. It’s just one large room where everyone sits together. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the shipments that need to go out. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, and we just wait it out or work by the windows. We aren't a polished company. We just know our business and we've been doing it in this same spot for a long time. It’s a practical way of working. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or art for the walls. We just focus on the orders. If you call us, you’ll probably hear the traffic in the background. That’s just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We keep things honest and simple.
