Chirag Caterers is located in Pathanwadi, near the Highway Signal at Hanuman Takdi in Malad East. It’s a spot that’s easy to get to because of the highway nearby. We’ve been operating from here for a good while. The kitchen is always on the go, especially since we are so close to the main road. It makes it easier for us to load the vans and head out to different parts of the city. We don't have a big corporate office or a sales team. It’s just us, the cooks, and the delivery guys. Most days, I’m right there in the middle of it, making sure the supplies arrived and the stove is working. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready setup, not something you’d see in a magazine. We don't believe in using big words to describe what we do. We just cook and deliver. The area around Hanuman Takdi is quite lively, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and they often stop by to say hello. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just try to get the work done right and move on to the next day. It’s a simple life, and we like keeping the business small enough to manage ourselves without any fuss. Usually, you’ll find us wearing aprons rather than suits.
