Chemtech Secretariat

Working out of Nariman Point means we’re right in the middle of everything in Mumbai. Maker Chambers VI is a big building, and our office at number 26 is where we handle all the Chemtech Secretariat stuff. It’s a pretty standard office setup. We’ve got a view of other buildings, and if you lean out the window, you can sometimes smell the sea. The hallways are always full of people in suits, but our office is a bit more relaxed than that. We handle a lot of coordination for the chemical and process industries. There’s always a stack of brochures to go out or registrations to process. It’s not fancy, just some desks, a lot of filing cabinets, and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. We’ve been at this address for a long time. People know where to find us. The traffic around Nariman Point is always a mess, so we usually try to get in early or stay late to avoid the worst of it. We don't have a big marketing team. We just do the work of organizing these big industry gatherings. It’s about making sure the right people talk to each other. Most days are just spent on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. It’s a lot of routine work, but someone has to do it.
