Purvi Footwear

Purvi Footwear is our little shop over in Shastri Nagar. We are located right near the Hanuman Mandir in the TB Colony area, just off CST Road in Chembur. It’s a pretty busy neighborhood, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise from the main road. We keep a variety of shoes and slippers here, mostly things people need for their daily commute or work. The shop isn't very big, so we have boxes stacked up high to make use of the space. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people come in at once. We’ve been here for years, and most of the locals know us by now. We don't do anything fancy with our displays; we just put the shoes out so people can see them. Sometimes we’re busy fixing a strap or helping someone find the right size. It is a simple business, nothing too complicated. The heat from the road can get inside during the afternoon, but we just keep the fan going and carry on. We aren't trying to be a big brand. We just want to make sure people in Chembur have a place to get decent footwear without having to travel too far. It’s just us, the shoes, and the daily crowd passing by the temple. That’s our life here at the shop, day in and day out, making sure everyone walks away with something that fits right.
