I’ve got a small place at Ganga Jyoti Shopping Centre, which is shop number 4. It’s right in Bangur Nagar, Goregaon West. If you know the area, it’s quite close to Bangur Seva Sadan. It’s a busy little shopping center with all sorts of small businesses. I’ve been here for a good while now. The space isn't very big, but it’s enough for what I do. I usually have the door open so I can see what’s going on in the lane. It’s mostly just me here, though sometimes a helper comes in. I don't think much of fancy office decorations. I have my desk, some chairs for people to sit, and my files organized the way I like them. People in the neighborhood know me, and I like that personal touch. It’s not like those big offices where you’re just a number. Here, we can sit and talk about what needs to be done over a cup of tea. Bangur Nagar has a nice community feel to it. I chose this spot because it’s easy for people to find and it’s been a stable part of the area for years. I just try to handle things honestly and get through the day’s work. There’s no big secret to how I run things. It’s just about being there and being reliable for the folks who walk through the door.
