Charuhas Enterprises

Our office is tucked away in the M N Koli Co-op Housing Society in Mahim. It’s number 11, right there on Mahim Causeway Road. If you’re standing near St. Xavier’s College, you just look across the road and we are right there. It’s an interesting spot because the energy from the college kids is always around. The housing society is a bit older, which gives the place a lived-in feeling. We’ve set up Charuhas Enterprises in one of the ground floor units. It’s convenient for deliveries and when people need to drop things off. The room is usually filled with the sound of the fan overhead and someone typing. We deal with various business tasks throughout the day. Mahim can get very crowded, especially during the evenings when everyone is heading home towards the causeway. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a regular workspace in a residential building. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat while we are working. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff that keeps things running. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years. The sea breeze sometimes makes its way here from the coast, which is nice during the hotter months. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every day. It's a simple, honest way to make a living.
