We are located on the third floor of Bokadia Mansion, in room 229. The building is right on Princess Street in the Kalbadevi area. If you know South Mumbai, you know that this part of town is incredibly crowded and full of history. Princess Street is always packed with people and traffic, and Bokadia Mansion is one of those traditional buildings that has been around for a long time. Our office isn't very large, but it serves our purposes well enough. We have been here for quite a while, and we are used to the climb up to the third floor. The space is filled with old files and the sound of people working away. Kalbadevi is a hub for all sorts of trade, so there is a constant energy just outside our door. We spend our days focusing on the guides and information we handle. It is not a modern, high-tech office with fancy gadgets; it’s more of a traditional workspace where things are done the old-fashioned way. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to close the windows, but that is just life in Kalbadevi. We appreciate being in such a central part of the old city. It has its challenges, like the narrow stairs and the lack of space, but we have made it our home. We just keep doing our work day in and day out, making sure everything is handled properly before we leave.
