Chanakya Creations

We are up here on the 4th floor of Navanand Society in Dahisar. If you know Maratha Colony, you’ve probably walked past our building a hundred times without really noticing it. We are tucked right behind that Dominos Pizza, so the smell of baking bread is basically our unofficial air freshener most days of the week. It’s not a fancy glass office or anything like that. It’s just where we set up Chanakya Creations and get our things done. Some mornings are very quiet, others are a bit chaotic with people coming in and out. The elevator works most of the time, which is lucky because four floors is a lot of steps when you’re carrying heavy bags or equipment. People usually have to call us first because finding the right entrance can be a little tricky the first time you visit. We’ve been in this part of Dahisar for quite a while now. Most of the people working here live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the monsoon rain gets really heavy and floods the roads. We keep a few chairs for visitors, though the place is usually cluttered with various projects and stacks of paperwork. It’s a working space, after all, and we don't try to hide that. We like the neighborhood because everything is close by. If we need a quick snack or some extra supplies, we just head downstairs. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we make it work for us.
