If you know Kalyan City, you know how busy it gets around the Joshi Baug area. Our place is tucked away in Aher Niwas, and it’s right near the Ram Mandir. It’s a good spot for us, but finding parking nearby is a total nightmare most days. We handle promotions and manage events, which basically means we spend our entire lives on the phone or running around with clipboards and rolls of tape. It started out small and it’s still pretty much a hands-on operation with a few of us doing everything. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just local people who know how to get things done. Sometimes we are setting up a stage in the middle of the night, and other times we are sitting in the office trying to make a tight budget work. It’s a lot of juggling. Dealing with vendors across Thane can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know who actually shows up on time. We don’t use any fancy software for everything, mostly just messy notebooks and our own memories. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we store banners and meeting notes. We actually like the chaos of a big event day, even if it means we don't get much sleep for a week. Kalyan is a tight-knit place, so we just try to do the work right.
