Camp Harit

If you look for us in Bandra West, you’ll find us at Link Square on 33rd Road. It’s a busy area, lots of shops and people walking around. We’re up on the 23F floor. It’s funny because we spend our days talking about nature and forests while looking out at all these buildings and the sea. The name Harit means green, and that’s basically what we’re about. We help organize camping trips and nature walks for people who want to escape the city noise. The office is usually a bit of a scramble. There are files on the desks and phones ringing quite a bit. We’re a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. One day someone is booking a bus, the next day they’re checking if the sleeping bags are clean. We don’t have a big corporate structure here. It’s just us trying to make sure people have a decent time when they go out to the woods. Bandra is a great place to be based, even if parking is a nightmare. Most of us live nearby or take the train in. We like the local vibe of 33rd Road. It’s got a lot of character. We’ve been doing this for some time now, just figuring it out as we go and making sure the sites we use are kept in good shape.
