C B Patel Research Centre

We've been operating out of the third floor of the Bhaidas Sabhagriha building for a while now. It is right there on NS Road No 1 in the JVPD Scheme, which most people know because it's so close to Mithibai College. Being in Vile Parle West means there is always a lot of student activity around, but up here in the SVKM space, things stay pretty focused on the research tasks at hand. It is not a fancy setup, just a functional space where we get our work done every day. The building itself is easy to find if you are familiar with the area. We spend most of our time dealing with data and lab work, keeping things moving along as planned. It can get a bit busy during term times with everyone coming and going from the colleges nearby, but we are used to that rhythm by now. The office is practical, with enough room for the team to sit down and go through papers or run tests without getting in each other's way. We don't really do much in terms of decoration or anything like that. It is just a workspace where the job gets finished. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow when the building is full, so we just plan for that. It’s a solid location for what we do, and being part of the SVKM setup keeps us connected to the academic side of things in this part of Mumbai. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks.
