Pooja Bags

At Pooja Bags, we spend most of our time in Shop No.13A. We are located on the ground floor of Narayan Bhuwan. It is right in the 1st Cross Lane of Byculla West. If you know Byculla, you know how these lanes can be. They are narrow and full of life, especially in the mornings when everyone is getting started. Our shop is filled with bags of all different sorts. We have been here for a good amount of time and the locals know us by now. Being on the ground floor helps because people can just step inside without any trouble. Narayan Bhuwan is an easy building to find once you get into the right lane. We don't have any big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us selling bags to whoever needs one. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit messy, but we keep the shop dry and ready for work. We have seen the area change a lot over the years but Byculla West still feels like the same old neighborhood to us. We try to keep our prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s a simple life running a bag shop. We open up, arrange the stock, and wait for the customers to come through the door. It’s not a glamorous job but it pays the bills and we like talking to the people who visit us. We just take it day by day here.
