Bushra Creations

We are located in Crystal Plaza, which is a pretty well-known building on New Link Rd. Our unit is B/516, so you have to take the lift up to the fifth floor. It is a busy place with lots of different offices and shops all crammed together. We do a lot of our design work and small-scale production right here in this one room. It is not a huge space, so being very organized with our fabrics and tools is necessary. The view from the window is mostly just more buildings and the constant stream of cars on the road below. New Link Road is never quiet, even late in the evening. We spend hours at the worktables, sometimes staying late to finish up an order that needs to go out the next morning. It is not like those fancy studios you see in magazines. There are threads on the floor and scraps of material everywhere. We just work with what we have. Sometimes the building's power acts up, or the lift stops working, but we just keep going anyway. It is a simple setup for people who like to make things with their hands. We don't have a receptionist or anything, so if the door is shut, just give us a loud knock. We are usually just in the back working on something new. It is just us doing our bit in a big city.
