Brioche Celebrate The Occasion

I started this little shop in Bandra West on Mount Carmel Road because I always liked the vibe of this neighborhood. It is a busy spot being so close to Mehboob Studio, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We spend most of our mornings getting the ovens ready and checking the orders that came in overnight. People stop by when they have something to celebrate, like a birthday or an anniversary, or sometimes they just want a quick treat while walking past. The street can get pretty crowded with cars and people, especially when there is filming nearby. We aren't a big chain or anything corporate. It’s just us here, making sure the cakes and pastries look decent and taste the way they should. Sometimes the humidity makes things difficult with the frosting, but we manage somehow. My cousin helps me out on the weekends when things get a bit hectic with the walk-in crowd. We’ve been at this location for a while now and most of our regular customers know us by our first names. It’s not a fancy place inside, just a simple counter and some shelves for the bread. We try to keep everything as fresh as possible. You might see us cleaning the glass windows every morning because of the dust from the road traffic. If you're walking toward the church, you'll probably smell the baking before you even see our sign. We don't do much advertising, as people just find us.
