Bright Super Courier

Bright Super Courier is over at Shop No 9, Champa Galli Cross L. We are right in the heart of Kalbadevi, which everyone knows is one of the most crowded places you can find. Even though the Western Express Highway is a main point of reference for us, the actual street life here is all about narrow lanes and people carrying heavy bags on their shoulders. We are opposite to Pankaj Market, so there is a constant stream of workers and shoppers moving past our front door. Our shop is basically a collection of cardboard boxes and rolls of packing tape. There is hardly any room to sit down because we are always weighing parcels or labeling envelopes. The air is thick with the sound of the market and the smell of old buildings. We spend our days making sure things are wrapped tight so nothing breaks during the journey. It’s not a glamorous job. We get a lot of dust from the street and the fans just move the hot air around. People come in with all sorts of things they want to send, from small documents to big crates. We just write down the addresses, take the payment, and stack them up for the afternoon pickup. It’s a lot of lifting and moving, but that is just how the courier business works in a place like Kalbadevi.
