Box Office India

Box Office India is based out of Mamta Bunglow on Raut Lane, right across from the Iskcon Temple in Juhu. Working from a bungalow gives the whole place a different feel than a standard office building. It is a bit more relaxed, though we stay busy enough. Juhu is a famous part of town, and being so close to the temple means there is always a certain atmosphere around here. We have been in this spot for a long time, and it has become our second home. Inside, it is mostly just desks piled with trade magazines, laptops, and stacks of papers. We track the numbers and the news from the film world, which is a lot of data to keep up with. It is not all glamour; mostly it is just sitting and verifying facts. The lane can get crowded with people visiting the temple, but we do not mind the bustle. We do not have any corporate mission statements on the walls. We just come in, check the reports, and update the information. It is a practical way to run things, and the bungalow setting makes the long hours a bit more bearable. We usually have some tea going and someone is always on the phone. It is just how we operate, keeping things steady and focusing on the numbers that come in every day. We just try to stay accurate and keep things moving.
