Boon Arts

Boon Arts is located at 61 C in Girgaon. Girgaon is one of those old parts of the city where everything feels a bit crowded but familiar. Our shop is in an old building, the kind with high ceilings and thick walls that stay a bit cooler in the summer heat. We don't have a big sign outside, just the name. Inside, it smells like paper and maybe a bit of dust. We have been here for a while and the space is filled with things we’ve collected over time. It’s not a very modern setup at all. We have old wooden tables where we do most of our work. People from the neighborhood stop by often, sometimes just to chat or ask for directions. It’s that kind of place. We don't really follow a strict corporate schedule; we open up in the morning and stay until the work is done. Sometimes that’s early, sometimes it’s quite late at night. The street outside is narrow, so you can always hear the scooters and the shouting of the vendors. It’s a lively place to be. We handle various art-related tasks, but we don't make a big deal out of it. We just enjoy being part of the Girgaon community. The floor tiles are a bit chipped and the windows rattle when a heavy truck goes by, but it feels like home to us. It’s just a place where we do our thing at Boon Arts.
