You will find us at 138 Nagdevi Street. This street is one of the busiest places you could imagine. There are trucks and carts and people everywhere. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise. We deal with minerals and industrial supplies. It is the kind of business where things are heavy and dusty. We have bags of material stacked up against the walls. The floor is concrete and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. We have been here at Bombay Mineral Supply Co. for a long time. My father was here before me. We know all the other shopkeepers on the block. It’s a tight community even if it looks like chaos to an outsider. We spend most of our time taking orders over the phone or helping people who come in looking for a specific type of mineral. We don't have a computer system that tracks everything perfectly. We mostly rely on our memory and some old notebooks. It works for us. The shop gets very hot in the summer, so we have a couple of old fans that just move the warm air around. We don't have any fancy signs or displays. People come to us because they know we have what they need. It is just a regular shop doing regular business on a very busy street. We keep things moving and don't overthink it.
