We are located at 138 Nagdevi Street, which is a very old and famous part of the city near Masjid. Our shop is on the first floor. If you’ve ever been to Nagdevi Street, you know it is incredibly crowded and narrow. There are shops selling pipes, tools, and hardware everywhere you look. We deal with minerals and industrial supplies. The building is quite old, with steep stairs that can be a bit of a climb if you are carrying something heavy. Inside, the space is packed with samples and bags of different materials. There is a specific smell of dust and earth that stays in the air. We spend our hours talking to vendors and managing the logistics of moving supplies from the warehouse to the customers. It is a traditional way of doing business, often involving a lot of handwritten ledgers and face-to-face talk. The area is always noisy with the sound of carts being pushed and people shouting over the traffic. We usually have a small lunch at our desks because the street outside is too hectic to navigate midday. It’s not a modern office by any means, but it has been our base for a long time. Everything is a bit weathered, from the wooden desks to the old filing cabinets, but it works for what we do every day.
