Bombay Melodies

Our place is Room Number 641 in Nehru Nagar, Khar. We are part of the Shreeji Dham Society, which is located near Bapasita Ram Chowk on Naroda Road. It’s a busy residential area, and we are right opposite a large building that everyone uses as a landmark. Being in Room 641 means we aren’t a big shop on the main road. It’s more of a personal space where we handle everything related to Bombay Melodies. Most of our day involves dealing with various recordings or instruments, depending on what’s needed. The society is usually quite lively with kids playing and people going about their business. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to get to our room, but it’s a nice enough community. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything flashy. Most people who come here are looking for something specific and they’ve usually heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We keep our space organized, though it gets a bit crowded with all the equipment we have stored in there. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because it lets us focus on what we’re doing without too much distraction. We’ve been in Khar for a good while now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Nehru Nagar. It’s just a normal day for us, surrounded by music and the usual neighborhood sounds from the society courtyard.
