J. K. Belts House

J. K. Belts House actually operates out of a couple of spots. We have our presence on Abdul Rehman Street at number 194-abdul, which is where a lot of the city's trade happens. But a lot of our work involves the place out on the Bavla-Bagodara Highway. That one is in Village Ranesar, specifically at No. 162. If you are driving down Highway 162, you will see us right behind the Super Gas station. It is a bit of a trek to get out there from the main parts of Ahmedabad, but that is where we have the space to keep everything. The highway is always full of trucks and dust, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the front area. We started this business because we knew a lot about belts and how people need them for all sorts of things. It is mostly my brothers and me running the show. We don’t have a fancy office out there, just a sturdy building that holds all the stock. Sometimes the power goes out in the village, and we just have to sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It’s a simple way of working, really. We keep track of everything in our ledgers and make sure the items get where they need to go. It’s a lot of driving between the city and the highway, but we are used to it by now.
