Bilal Picture Company

Bilal Picture Company is based out of Flat No 13 in Society No 4, right in the Four Bunglow area. We are quite close to the Mhada telephone exchange, which is a big landmark around here. Working from a flat in Andheri West feels right for what we do with pictures and films. It is a busy neighborhood, always something going on outside the window, and that energy kind of keeps us going. The office is often full of hard drives, scripts, and half-empty tea cups. We are not a big studio with shiny floors; it is more of a practical workspace where we can sit down and focus on the projects. Getting here can be a bit of a crawl through traffic during peak hours, but that is just Mumbai life. We have been in this society for a while, and the neighbors are used to us coming and going at odd hours. We do not really do the whole corporate thing with fancy meetings. We just sit around the table, look at the footage, and try to make something that looks decent. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we take the stairs, which keeps us moving. It is just a regular place where we try to do good work every day and keep the coffee pot full while we are at it.
