Midas Chambers is one of those busy office buildings in Andheri where there is always someone waiting for the lift. Our space at 101/103 is where we handle the day-to-day operations for Bibby International Service India Pvt Ltd. It is a standard office setup with rows of desks, some plastic plants that don't need watering, and the constant hum of the air conditioning unit. Most of the staff here are busy with emails or on the phone for most of the shift. We deal with a lot of paperwork and digital files that keep the business moving. It gets pretty frantic around the end of the month when everything needs to be filed and sorted. We usually take our lunch breaks in the small pantry area or head downstairs to the local food stalls if we have the time. The view from the window isn't much, just other buildings and the busy street below, but it lets in some natural light. Sometimes we have meetings in the small conference room, which is usually just us trying to figure out the schedule for the next week. It is a regular job in a regular part of the city. We show up, do the work that’s on the screen, and head home like everyone else. The security guards at the main gate know us all by name now since we’ve been here a while. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic but you get used to it over time.
