Bhartiya Sangeet Prachar Kendra

This is the Bhartiya Sangeet Prachar Kendra and we are located in Flat No 20/1, Wing B of the Shraddha building. You can find us in Goregaon West, right across from Galaxy Heights. Our space is usually filled with the sound of music, whether it is someone practicing an instrument or just people talking about different songs. It is not a big school or a grand hall; it is just a flat where we have set up our practice rooms. We have been in Shraddha for a while now, and the neighbors are mostly used to the sounds coming from our windows. Goregaon West is a very active area, and having Galaxy Heights right opposite us makes it very easy for new students to find our door. We don’t really do much in the way of big promotions. People mostly hear about us through word of mouth from others who have been here. We have some old instruments that have seen a lot of use over the years, and the walls are a bit worn down, but it is a place where music is actually happening. We spend our days teaching and listening, and it is a very simple way to live. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get here, or the lift in the building breaks down, but we just carry on with our lessons anyway. It is a modest place for music.
