Becons

Becons is located in the Lalji Dongri Building, room 26/204, in Masjid Bunder West. We are part of the Parimal Housing Society and the police station is right nearby, so the area feels quite safe and busy. Masjid Bunder is one of those places that never really stops moving. There are carts and people everywhere in the streets below us. Our office is up in the building, and it’s a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it. The space is simple with just enough room for our desks and some filing cabinets. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. It’s not a fancy setup with modern furniture, just the basic things we need to get our tasks finished. We can hear the noise from the market and the station coming through the windows. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of work to do, but we make it work. The building itself is old and has that specific smell of lived-in Mumbai architecture. We know the neighbors in the housing society and we often chat on the stairs. It’s a community feeling even though we are all busy with our own work. We don't have a big sign outside, just our name on the door. It’s a quiet, steady kind of business life in a very loud part of the city. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing.
