Our shop is over at Building No. 100 on Huzaria Street, which is on B. A. V. Marg. We are right near J. J. Hospital, so the area is always packed with people and traffic. It’s Shop No. 4, and it is a small, honest space where we do our business every day. Being so close to the hospital means it’s never quiet around here, but we like the energy of the street. Inside the shop, we have shelves piled up with various items we deal in. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is located. We spend most of our mornings opening up and getting things ready for whoever might walk in. It’s a lot of sitting behind the counter and talking to people who come by. We don’t use any high-tech systems or anything fancy; we just keep track of things the old-fashioned way. The building itself is an older one, but it serves us just fine for what we need. We handle international stuff but our day-to-day life is very local and grounded in this neighborhood. Most of the time it is just us managing the inventory and making sure the shop stays running. It’s hard work sometimes, especially in the heat, but we have been doing this for a while and we are used to the rhythm of the street.
