Being in Borivali West means there is always something happening outside the door. Our shop is at Shop No 1 in the Dattani Trade Centre. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the Raj Mahal Hotel, which everyone knows. The courier business is mostly about piles of boxes and papers. We have packages sitting on the counters and some on the floor when it gets really crowded. It’s a small space, so we have to be organized, or we’d never find anything. The morning starts with deliveries coming in, and then we spend the afternoon sorting them out. We use a lot of tape and markers. Sometimes the pen runs out right when you need it, which is annoying. Borivali is a fast place, and people are always in a rush to send their stuff. We try to keep up with the pace. The trade center has other shops too, so there is a constant flow of people walking past our window. It’s a lot of "hello" and "good morning" to the neighbors. We don’t do much advertising; people just see the sign and come in with their envelopes. It’s a straightforward job. You take a package, you write down the address, and you move on to the next one. That’s pretty much how the hours go by here in this little corner of the building.
