Our place is on Dadi Seth Agairy Lane in Chira Bazar. We are in Singhania Wadi, specifically Room 45 and 46. It’s an old part of Mumbai, near Ganesh Bagh. The building is one of those traditional ones with the shared corridors. We deal with bags, and since the space is limited, we have to be very careful about how we stack things. It’s a bit of a maze getting to our rooms if you’re not used to the layout. The lane outside is always packed with people and small shops. It’s got that old market feel where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We spend most of our time checking the stitching and the handles on the bags we get in. It’s a lot of manual work, opening crates and inspecting every piece. Sometimes the lighting in the rooms isn't the best, but we’ve lived with it for years. We don’t have a website that’s updated every day or a big marketing team. It’s just us and the bags. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our work stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit cramped and sometimes it’s dusty, but it’s where we get things done. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized among all the boxes. It’s hard work, but we are used to it.
