We have been situated at Badruddin Chember for quite some time now. Our shop is number 5 on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk right in. We are directly opposite Crawford Market, and that means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. It can get pretty loud during the peak hours of the day. You can find us right behind Hotel Sadanand if you are looking for the entrance. Most of the time, we are just busy sorting out the stock or helping the people who come in. It is not a very big space, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside these four walls. We open up the shutters early every morning and start our work. Sometimes my cousin comes in to help when the boxes start piling up too high. We don't really have a fancy way of doing things. We just keep an eye on the inventory and make sure we have what people are asking for. The building itself is old and has a lot of character. We know all the other shopkeepers around here, and we usually share a tea in the afternoon. It is a simple life and we just take things one day at a time. If you happen to be wandering around the market area, you might have seen us. We just focus on running our small business here and keeping things moving along.
