Babubhai Chemist

The shop is located on Warden Road, right near the Koramangala Layout 18 area. We’ve been here for quite some time now, just running the chemist business as usual. Most days it’s just us behind the counter, helping people who walk in with their prescriptions or looking for some basic stuff like bandages or aspirin. It gets a bit hectic when the schools let out or when people are coming home from work on Hosur Road. We try to keep the shelves stocked, though sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery truck to show up. It isn’t a huge place, just a regular shop with a lot of bottles and boxes everywhere. We know most of the neighbors by name since they’ve been coming here for years. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the torches to find things, but we manage. We aren’t trying to do anything fancy here, just keeping the shop open and making sure people get what they need for their health. The floor gets a bit dusty from the road outside, so we spend a lot of time sweeping. It’s a simple life, really. We open early and stay open until the evening, watching the traffic go by. There’s always someone stopping in for a quick chat or to ask for directions while they pick up their medicine. We just take it one day at a time.
