Baba Decorator

Baba Decorator is based in Dighe, Navi Mumbai. Our place is more of a warehouse and a small workspace than a fancy showroom. We keep all our decoration materials here, so you will see piles of fabric, bundles of decorative sticks, and crates of lights stacked up against the walls. It is a bit of a cluttered environment, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Working in Dighe means we are right in the mix of residential and industrial spots. The weather in Navi Mumbai is usually quite humid, so we spend a lot of time making sure our stuff doesn't get ruined by the dampness. Most of our days are spent loading things into small trucks or checking the inventory after it comes back from a site. It is physical, hands-on work. We don't wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Usually, we are in old clothes because we are likely to get some dust or paint on us. When people come to see us, we just show them what we have in stock and talk about what they want for their event. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy catalog; we just show real photos of stuff we have actually done. It is a simple, honest business and we just try to make sure we don't forget any parts when we go to set up a stage.
