Awessome Events

Awessome Events is based in Malad East 5. We’ve been around this neighborhood for a while, just doing our thing with local events. It’s a small operation, mostly run out of a modest space where we keep all our gear. We aren't some big-name agency with a lot of polish. We are just regular people who know how to set up a stage or organize a gathering. Often, our days are spent driving around Malad looking for supplies or meeting with folks who want to host a party but don't know where to start. The name is a bit silly, we know, but it stuck. We don't have a big mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just try to make sure things go smoothly so the person paying us doesn't have to worry too much. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting boxes and untangling cables. Sometimes we get things wrong, like the color of the drapes or a typo on a sign, but we always fix it eventually. It’s a practical business. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably just find us sitting around a table with a laptop and some cold tea. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do, and it keeps the lights on. We like being in Malad East; it feels like home to us. We’re just here to help out with your next local function or party.
