Awaz Company

Our place is right on M G Road, specifically at 48 A. If you know where the Devpuriya Plot Center is, we are right near there, just beside SNDT College in Ghatkopar West. Awaz Company has been operating from this little corner for a good bit now. It’s a convenient spot because of the college being right next door, so there’s always people walking by. We handle sound and related things, which is why we picked the name Awaz. It’s not a huge operation, just a local business trying to stay busy. The office is a bit cramped with all the gear we have lying around. Sometimes the dust from M G Road gets in, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We spend a lot of time testing equipment and making sure everything works like it should. We aren't fancy people. We wear jeans and t-shirts to work and drink a lot of tea from the stall nearby. We’ve seen a lot of students from SNDT pass by over the years. Ghatkopar West has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of that. We don't put out big ads or anything. Most people find us because they live around here or someone told them about us. We just try to be helpful when someone comes in looking for help with sound stuff. It’s a messy job sometimes, but we like it. We’ve been here so long the walls could probably tell a few stories about the neighborhood.
