Aventis Pharma

Aventis Pharma is based out of Aventis House on Mathuradas road. It’s a solid building that’s been here for quite a few years. People know the name of the house, so it’s easy to give directions. Inside, it’s mostly just the usual office stuff. We have rows of desks and plenty of filing cabinets that are starting to bulge a bit. The noise from Mathuradas road stays mostly outside, but you can still feel the pulse of the street. We aren't the kind of place with a fancy coffee machine or a lounge. We just have a small corner where we keep the kettle. Most of us have been working here together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get things done. We know the routine inside out. It involves a lot of checking lists and making sure the deliveries are on time. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do things the old-fashioned way with pens and paper. It’s a bit of a scramble when that happens, but we manage. We don't really have a big public face. We just do our work behind these walls and go home when the clock hits five. It’s a reliable place to be, and we like the familiarity of the building and the people we see every day. The walls are a little drab but it feels like home now.
