We are located in Andheri West, over at the 6th Main Road in the 4th Block. Our office is in 305, and it’s usually filled with the glow of different sized television screens. Some are missing their backs, showing all the wires and boards inside. We deal with a lot of electronics that have just stopped working for no clear reason. It’s a lot of testing and poking around with meters to find where the power is cutting out. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with magazines. Usually, there’s just a stool and some old boxes of cables lying around. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where every tool is kept. Working in Andheri means we deal with a lot of people and a lot of different gadgets. We don’t do much in the way of sales pitches. People bring us their broken sets, and we see what we can do. Sometimes the parts take a week to arrive, and we just have to wait. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a circuit board. The fans in the workshop are always humming to keep the equipment cool. It’s decent work, and we’ve been doing it long enough that we can usually tell what’s wrong just by the sound the TV makes when you try to turn it on.
