Auro Cool is located right in the Opera House area, which is always a bit of a frantic place to be during the day. We’ve been around here for quite some time, dealing with all the heat that comes with the city. The shop isn't very large, mostly just filled with tools, copper pipes, and bits of machinery that we use for fixing things. There is usually a faint smell of oil and metal in the air, which is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We don't have a flashy storefront because most of our work happens out at other people's places anyway. When we are actually in the shop, we’re usually cleaning out filters or checking parts to see what’s still good. The Opera House neighborhood has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of that over the years. We have an old metal shutter that we pull up every morning, and it makes a loud noise that probably wakes up the neighbors. There is a small stool near the entrance where I usually sit for a few minutes to have some water before the next call comes in. It’s a practical business, nothing too fancy or complicated about it. We just show up, take our bags of tools, and go where we are needed. It’s a bit of a grind when the summer hits its peak, but that is when we are the busiest anyway.
