Green Cross Society Foundation

Green Cross Society Foundation is based in the Malwani area of Malad West. We are in unit 505 of the CHSL building on Plot No. 60, specifically RSC 21 in the Mhada colony. It is a residential neighborhood, so it feels very different from a business district. There are families living all around us. You can hear kids playing outside sometimes. We work out of this space to handle our foundation’s activities. It’s a modest setup. We have a few desks and some chairs. Most of our time is spent coordinating things over the phone or meeting local people. Malwani is a tight-knit place. Everyone knows where the Mhada buildings are. We don't have any big signs or fancy branding. It is just a quiet office where we get our work done. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to say hello. We deal with various community matters and keep our records in order. It’s not a fast-paced environment, but there is always something that needs doing. We usually have the window open for a bit of air. The layout is simple. We moved here because it puts us right in the middle of the community we are part of. It’s a practical location for the kind of work we do every day. We just keep things moving along without much fuss.
