Audio Weaves

We are based at Room No 5 on the second floor of Tranzes Camp No 10. It’s on B N Rathod Marg in Mahalaxmi. Being in Mumbai means there’s always noise around, but inside our space, we focus on the sound work we do. It’s a busy spot near the racecourse area. We’ve been here for a while now, just handling the audio stuff that comes our way. The building is an old one, typical for this part of Mahalaxmi. You have to walk up to the second floor to find us. Usually, there are cables everywhere and someone is probably testing a speaker or checking some recordings. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the stairs are a bit cramped if we are moving equipment in or out. People usually find us because they need something specific with sound or weaving different audio elements together. We spend most of our days here, drinking tea and looking at sound waves on screens. It's not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but this camp area still feels the same as it did years ago. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy quite well. If you are looking for us, just head towards B N Rathod Marg and look for the Tranzes Camp sign. It’s pretty straightforward once you get the hang of the lanes around here.
