Asif Arts

Asif Arts is located in Room No 7 inside the Maqbool Building. We are right in the heart of Bandra West on the 16th road cross street. If you know the K G N Market you can find us easily because we are right there in the thick of it. The Ram Mandir is another good landmark nearby to look out for. Our space is not very big but it is filled with all sorts of things we are working on. We do a lot of traditional art and sign painting and sometimes people just stop by to watch us work. The market is always noisy with people shouting and bikes going past but that is just how Bandra is. We have been in this room for years and the walls are covered in old paint splashes. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the street traffic outside but we do not mind. We mostly work with our hands and simple tools. There is no air conditioning here so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through the market. Most of our neighbors are shopkeepers selling clothes or food and we all know each other well. It is a very local vibe and we like being part of this community. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders that come in every week. There is always something interesting happening right outside our doorstep in the market.
