Ashok Mandap Decorator

My father started Ashok Mandap Decorator a long time ago and we are still here in Goregaon East on Arthur Bunder Road. The warehouse is always full of bamboo poles, colorful cloths, and stacks of plastic chairs. It’s a dusty business, honestly. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks at odd hours of the night. If there is a wedding or a puja happening, we are usually there early in the morning to set things up. It’s hard work and your hands get rough from tying knots all day. Arthur Bunder Road is where we keep all our gear. Sometimes the fabric gets a little faded from the sun so we have to replace it. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know us in Goregaon East and give us a call or stop by the shop. We have a few guys who have worked with us for twenty years now. They know exactly how to pitch a tent so it won't fall down if the wind picks up. We just try to give people what they ask for without making it complicated. It isn't about being fancy. It's about making sure there's a roof over the guests and enough places for everyone to sit down. We just keep going, day by day, making sure the work is done right and the customer is okay with it.
