You can find Ashiwal Textile & Leather at Shop Number 4 in the Vighnahartha building. We are right across from the Pratissha Nagar bus depot in Sion. It is a busy spot with people always coming and going from the buses. Being in Mumbai, space is always tight, but we make it work in our little shop. We deal with both textiles and leather, which keeps things interesting since they smell quite different. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock in, and sometimes you have to sidestep a few boxes just to get to the back. We are not trying to be anything fancy. It is a straightforward shop where we do our business every day. The noise from the depot is something you just get used to after a week or two. We have got a small team, and we all know our roles. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to reorganize the shelves. When it is busy, it is really busy. We do not have a website or anything like that, we just stay here and talk to whoever walks through the door. It is a practical way to run things. Sion is a good place for us because of the transport links. We just do our work, chat with the neighbors, and try to keep things moving. It is a simple life in a busy city, and we like it that way.
