We operate out of unit 213 in Laxmi Plaza, which is tucked inside the Laxmi Industrial Estate. It’s a pretty active area in Andheri West, right off New Link Road. You’ve probably seen the traffic around here; it never really stops. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us by name. Our work is in the life sciences field, which sounds a bit more complicated than it actually feels day-to-day. Mostly, we’re just making sure our products are up to standard and getting them where they need to go. The office is a bit crowded sometimes because we have a lot of stuff to keep track of. It’s not a fancy showroom. We have desks that have seen better days and a coffee machine that’s a bit temperamental. But it works for us. We focus on the practical side of things. There’s no big marketing department here writing fancy slogans. It’s just us, some computers, and a lot of lists. The industrial estate has its own charm, even if it’s a bit gritty. We like the energy of the place. We just keep doing what we do, year after year, without making much of a fuss. It’s a decent way to make a living and help people out with what they need. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we sort through the paperwork and shipments.
