Our office is on the third floor of the Jeevan Udyog Building, located at 278 D.N. Road in the Fort area. Fort is one of those places that still feels like old Bombay, with its grand stone buildings and the constant rush of people. Our office fits right into that atmosphere. The Jeevan Udyog Building is an older one, with high ceilings and heavy doors that have been there for decades. We handle industrial minerals, so our daily life involves a lot of coordinating between the mines and the customers. The office is always full of files and maps. It’s not a modern, sleek workspace; it feels more like a place where real work has been happening for a very long time. We have a small team of dedicated people, some of whom have been here since they were young. We don't go in for any of that corporate vision or mission talk. We just focus on getting the shipments sorted and making sure the paperwork is correct. The view from our windows is mostly of the busy D.N. Road below, which is always full of life. It can be a bit noisy with the traffic, but we’ve grown to love the energy of the city. We take our tea breaks at our desks or go for a quick walk to one of the nearby stalls for a snack. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business in a historic part of the city.
