You can find Asha Bags Shop at 28 Asha House on Suren Road in Chakala. It’s a pretty straightforward place to get to once you’re in the area. We’ve got bags of all sorts piled up inside, from small ones to big travel cases. Asha House is our base, and we’ve been operating out of here for a long time. Suren Road stays busy throughout the day, so there’s always a lot of movement outside our windows. We spend most of our time organizing the stock and checking for any defects. It’s a lot of heavy lifting sometimes, moving crates and boxes around. The shop isn't set up like a big mall store. It’s more of a warehouse feel where things are stacked high and we know exactly where each item is. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or lighting. We just keep things functional. Most of the people who come in are looking for something durable that will last them a while. We talk to the delivery drivers, the neighbors, and the occasional person who wanders in off the street. It’s a simple routine. We open the doors in the morning, check the inventory, and handle whatever comes our way. Chakala is a good spot for us because there’s always something happening. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by pretty fast when you’re busy. We stay until the street lights come on.
