Our shop is located in Shivaji Nagar, over in Govandi. The address is N24/B/9, and we are right on Shivranjani Cross Road. If you are coming by bus, we are very close to the Baiganwadi Bus Depot. This area is always full of life and noise. There are people everywhere and the sound of the buses is constant. Our shop is a small, practical space. It isn't built for comfort or style. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling to hold our supplies because the floor space is so limited. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We have been in Shivaji Nagar for a long time now and we feel like we belong here. The other shop owners nearby are like family to us. We share news and sometimes help each other out when things get busy. Working here means dealing with the chaos of the city every single day, but we wouldn't have it any other way. It is a real, hardworking neighborhood. We don't have any fancy displays or a big glass storefront. It is just a regular shop where we do our work and talk to the people who stop by. Sometimes the rain comes in a bit under the door during a heavy storm, but we just mop it up and keep going.
