Arrika Fibres Private Limited is based on the 1st Floor of Plumber House, at 557, J.S.S. Road. This is right in the middle of Chira Bazar in Mumbai. If you have ever been to Chira Bazar, you know how packed the streets are. Plumber House is an old building, and our office is at Number 14. It has that classic Mumbai feel, with narrow hallways and the sound of the city always coming through the windows. We deal with fibres and the daily grind of the Mumbai market. The humidity can be a bit much, especially in the afternoons, but we have our fans running and we get through it. Working in Mumbai City-400002 means you are always in the thick of things. There is no quiet time here, really. We spend our days talking to suppliers and checking on our inventory. It is a tight space, but we have made it work for us. Most of the people working here have been with the company for a long time. We know the neighbors and the local chai wallah knows our orders. It’s a very human way to do business, without all the polished corporate talk. We just focus on the fibres and making sure our clients are taken care of. It is a lot of hard work, but being in such a historic part of Mumbai makes it feel worth it. We just keep our heads down and get it done.
