AROILS FARMING PRIVATE LIMITED

Our little office is in Shop 301 at the Joy Hub building. It’s right across from the Nagarpalika on the station road in Ambernath. Being so close to the station means there is always noise and people rushing by. We focus on farming activities here. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers about their soil and what they plan to grow next season. The office is simple. We have a few desks and a lot of paper folders. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the fan is always on full speed. We aren't some big city corporation with glass walls. We are just local people trying to make a living in the agriculture sector. My nephew helps with the computer stuff because I’m not very good at it. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the rain. In this part of Thane, the weather dictates everything for us. If the monsoon is good, everyone is happy. If not, it’s a tough year. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just try to be useful to the people who walk through our door. Sometimes the shop gets crowded and people have to wait outside. We don't mind the chaos. It’s part of life in Ambernath. We’ve been here for a while and we know most of our neighbors. It’s a decent way to spend the day and we just keep at it.
