Arbuda Jalebi House

You can find us at 457 Shivmahal Society, right on Old Padra Road in Charni Road. We are known as Arbuda Jalebi House, and we’ve been making sweets here for quite some time. The mornings are usually our busiest period. We have to get the oil hot and the batter ready before the first few customers show up looking for breakfast. Jalebis are best when they are fresh, so we are constantly making new batches throughout the morning. The address is quite central, so we get a lot of people stopping by on their way to work. It’s a small shop, and it can get quite hot inside with the big vats of syrup and the frying going on. We don't really have a fancy sitting area or anything. People usually just stand around or take their parcels to go. The neighborhood of Charni Road has a lot of history, and we feel like we are a small part of that daily routine for people living in Shivmahal Society and nearby. We don't bother with social media or big advertisements. The smell of the frying jalebis usually does the work for us. It’s a lot of hard work, especially in the summer heat, but we’ve been doing it so long it just feels natural now. We just focus on getting the food right every single day for the locals.
